With the tool active clic in video while press Alt in keyboard, in this way you will select the video or audio of you clip in timeline. You can only ripple trim the video if the audio is not blocked. As suggested above: use ALT for fast editing.
All you have to do is open Premiere's preferences and select the "Media Cache" tab, and then click the new "Delete" button next to "Remove Media Cache Files". From here you'll have two options.
